Making Blueprints
+ V&A Storehouse x Bow Arts [London, UK]
Using the V&A archives on climate change, climate justice and the Anthropocene to explore the visual narratives of climate change through drawing, collage and cyanotype printing to create a collaborative parachute. Delivered for Walthamstow College students and members of the public.
Diatom Dancing Props
+ Emerge East [London, UK]
Using diatoms from the Natural History Museum collections from the East London section of the river Thames as motifs, and up-cycled excess fabrics and materials from East London, we hosted a day-long workshop making dancing props for the Bloc Party in Barking, hosted by Hemmingway design. In collaboration with Zoë Schnegg.
Ocean of Relativity
+ Ocean Advocate Summit [Bristol, UK]
An intervention for the UK’s first Ocean Advocacy Summit. The interactive workshop explores relational knowledge for the ocean. Blending attendee reflections, original drawings, and microscopic marine imagery, participants use ‘circles of influence’ to record their individual commitments to the ocean. Each postcard tile comes together to make a collective piece.

Shared Spaces
+ LAF and University of Pforzheim [Pforzheim, Germany]
Workshop walk and lecture performance with an overhead projector, exploring key species across the city of Pforzheim and tuning in to the more-than-human community through guided exercises.
The School of Planetary Gardeners
+ TERRRA [Brezoi, Romania]
A trans-local initiative dedicated to ecological transition and resilience. Based in Brezoi, it connects local and international practitioners through hands-on, alternative education focused on planetary gardening, rural knowledge, interdisciplinary exchange, and practical responses to the climate crisis.
SongMaps
+ StrongBack Productions with Speaking Volumes and Rye Harbour Nature Reserve [Rye, UK]
The project brought together artists- poets and writers, a composer, a sound artist and a visual artist- scientists, conservationists, a local fisherman, an anthropologist and intergenerational participants, to learn how Rye is being affected by changes due to climate events. I looked at multi-sensory storytelling and created a map drawing of the workshop outputs, talks and Open Space.
Meeting Points
+ Akademie Schloss Solitude [Stuttgart, Germany]
This workshop series, developed with Marcela Majchrzak, Veronika Schneider and a community centre for university students and people with refugee and asylum seeker status, ‘Begegnungsraum’. After a few months of attending open evenings with the community group, we facilitated some clay, decoration and language workshops. We created a community centre inside the gallery as part of a group show - with prompt cards and ceramic mugs from the workshops, benches, tea-making and Uno, shared around a sand-filled table for tactile conversation, disrupting gallery formality for openness, play, and connection. The mugs were gifted to the community centre for ongoing community tea evenings after the exhibition.

Together South
+ Groundwork [London, UK]
A series of weekly workshops over two years as part of Together South, a programme supporting people with refugee, non-EU migrant and asylum seeker status across South & East London, Kent and Hastings. The workshop series explored inter-cultural exchange around the Almanac (seasonal guide to the year).
‘Healing’ [05] - collaborative artwork inspired by the paintings of Abel Rodríguez, who uses art as a medium to preserve his knowledge of the Nonuya rainforest after the Colombian armed conflict and natural resource exploitation forced Rodríguez and his family from native land to Bogotá. The 64 tiles were painted by the Together South community, and stitched together with Sashiko visible mending, a Japanese technique which heals the artwork together.
Press: Shelby Studios Art Activism Zine.
Photographs from the Horniman Museum & Gardens exhibition and collaborative workshops.
The Indoor Outdoor Continuum
+ Imperial College [London, UK]
WellHome is the largest study Imperial has delivered in collaboration with communities. So far, nearly all pollution research has focused on outdoor pollution, yet most people spend >70% of their day indoors. I was commissioned by Imperial College to co-produce a pollution map with the local community and families with asthma. I ran a series of workshops at holiday and after-school clubs across West London. Participants explored the relationship between indoor and outdoor air pollution through drawing, stitching, and quilting.
Planet Beckton
+ Steetspace x Newham council [London, UK]
I worked as an artist facilitator for some artistic workshops exploring the future of Beckton Parks for Streetspace and Newham Council, using balloon and walking mapping. The four month engagement programme was the first step towards the creation of the Beckton Parks Masterplan, a vision for 36 hectares of green space between the wards of Beckton and Custom House.
